Service is a practical expression of care for other people. Roen McCullough has participated in a Central Ohio service activity at the Columbus Dream Center, sponsored by Rock City Church, helping prepare food for members of the local homeless community.
The experience of serving alongside others reinforces the value of attention, humility and consistent community involvement.
Faith, gratitude and responsibility inform Roen’s effort to be present for people and contribute where he can.
Community service builds perspective. It is a reminder that individual growth is connected to how we support and learn from others.
